"The room had other people’s hair on the desk, in the shower and on the entrance floor. I just have the feeling that the rooms are not vacuumed or cleaned well between visitors and I find that to be disgusting. Also I could hear everything the guy next door was doing. Pretty sad for the amount of money we pay for a room."

"If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong."

Upon arrival, we found several cleanliness and maintenance issues, including what appeared to be pet waste embedded in the carpet (partially hidden by a chair), pet urine stains along the baseboards, and what appeared to be blood on a shelf in the bathroom. "The guy at the front was really nice, helpful and clean. The rest of the experience was a 0 star. Absolutely filthy. Nothing was cleaned. The beds you can tell was not turned down. I wouldn’t stay here unless it was the last place on earth. Which unfortunately in the area that night it was. Never again"

"The beds were comfortable. The full size refrigerator was very nice. It needed another chair to sit on. There was only 1 bar of soap so we had to buy something for the shower. Also has to but dish washing soap to clean the dishes that were provided. The dishes were a nice touch but if you plan on using the cooking area you have to bring your own pot/pan/utensils. It would be nice to know ahead of time. Also, though it says they provide a hair dryer, you have to ask for one at the front...
