"Parking was ok. Spaces for larger vehicle was tight. Room was clean and comfortable. I liked that there was a balcony; this was a surprise/ bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"It's the perfect spot if you are arriving from the ferry and need a place to stay for the night. I arrived there at 11 p.m. Check-in was easy, and communication was great and helpful. It is not quiet, so it is probably not the best for a long stay, but it is definitely very convenient, and everything was efficient. Also, it is pet-friendly, and that was the positive part for us. We will return if we arrive late at night or leave with the early morning ferry. "

"This large and lovely home is situated in a serene upscale neighborhood north of Nanaimo proper. My girlfriends and I rented two rooms. Both rooms had spectacular, unobstructed views. Charles, the owner/manager, was a delight. Some beautiful beach walks are only a five-minute drive away, but would not be easy for 70 y.o. knees to walk to due to the steepness of the road up the house. Also, come prepared with any snacks, as there are no convenience stores nearby. We would definitely visit again."

"The host was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the iron room and it was great for what we needed. The host made us a customized breakfast. It was clean and was within walking distance to the Doc Lewis park where the festival was located. There is a beach and a walking trail located directly in front of the home. I would stay here again.
