"Great sized twin room. Fabulous breakfast. Perfect one night stay."

"The room I stayed in wasn’t great, hadn’t been decorated in quite a while, items removed from the walls hadn’t been repaired and repainted, carpet tiles on the floor that didn’t look clean, lampshades just about hanging on the wall. Rooms not very inviting at all. Breakfast was OK and the staff are friendly but just needs some updating."

Stewart the Manager and the whole team went out of their way to make us feel at home with every need taken care of. We will look forward to our next visit."

"The staff, especially Reception and a young blonde-haired lady who had only been there about 3 weeks were exceptional. Having the bar & the restaurant on the top floor is a bit odd, but it is comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very poor as was the quality of the wine. The gentleman acting as Maitre was brusque, untidy and unwelcoming. We booked our table for 7 and were prompt. But he wanted us to have courses in rapid succession. When we asked for a pause his response was that it was...
