"They are in process of renovating, so new paint and carpet, door had post-it notes to tell the room numbers. But our first room had a window that was cracked open and didn’t shut (it was -13 outside), 2nd room was ok… but you couldn’t turn on the sink unless you used 2 hands. Fridge was so loud we ended up unplugging it so we could sleep. Beds were new but the linens felt either cheap or dirty… No pool or hot tub like the pictures on the website showed. "Staff were all friendly and always said hello/good morning. Front desk woman was very accommodating; we got in a night earlier than expected and while I had booked another night, she ensured we wouldn't have to swap rooms the next morning which was very nice for her.
Room was very clean and nice, bed was kinda hard/stiff but that's personal preference.
We LOVED the breakfast there; many more choices than typical hotel. The outdoor area was lovely, with plenty of seating and firepits.
