"My family of 3 had a wonderful time and our 8 year old was delighted with the baths, the kid dinner and buffet. Our only complaint was the dinner restaurant happened to have a lot of loudly screaming children which diminished the experience a bit."

"We loved our stay in Hikone. The room was comfortable given we had three single beds. The hotel is only a minute walk from the train station and close to dining establishments. It's also a short walk to the castle - which is a must. This was a week into our trip, so we availed ourselves of the laundry facility. It is located on one of the floors, not in your room. It had two washers and two dryers. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again."

"Fantastic stay in this onsen style ryokan. Had a wonderful private onsen in our room, overlooking the river and the lake beyond. Can’t ask for a more perfect experience. Waking up early to soak in our private room onsen before dressing and heading down for the Japanese style breakfast included."
