"I always try to stay at the High Peaks Resort if we are taking a trip to Lake Placid, especially in the summer! The location is amazing, the property is beautifully maintained, rooms are clean, and staff are so friendly. The lakefront access with swimming area and the lakeside pool are just the cherries on top! We will definitely stay here again and of course I highly recommend!"

"Overall a very good 2-day stay. Check‐in was ok. The elevators were out of order. So we had to use the service elevators. But the check-in itself was very easy. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to provide great service. We had a room on Main street. So it was a bit noise, especially when the garbage truck picked up garbage. I suggest trying to get a room on the parking lot side. The location was great- near everything!"
