We checked in very late and staff catered for that they were lovely! Easy check in. Room very clean, lovely stay

The staff were very helpful and attentive, we had to move rooms as the guests up above us flooded our room and this was done quickly and efficiently. The bar and the food was ok but we found both expensive compared to others in the area

All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The full English Breakfast was good, not too greasy, decent sausages. Directly opposite Hindhead Common and Devils Punchbowl, it’s a great location and for the money it did the job. It was clean, decent sized room. Only criticism was that the room was hot, it was 25 degrees and unfortunately they didn’t have any fans. Good value for money.

It's location is very good, with easy access to splendid views over the Punchbowl and across to London. My main concern was the fact that toilet was unnecessarily difficult to flush, and was ineffective in clearing away all the ridiculously thin toilet paper.

So close to the centre of town, yet with the feeling of being away from things. The PunchBowl is just a few hundred meters up the road and well worth the short walk to see the views. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and functional accommodation, good beer selection and cellar maintenance, but had to leave early each morning so wasn't able to sample the breakfast :-(

Do not be fooled by the pictures it’s very tired. It smells. The windows not cleaned on don’t know how long. Faulty towers would be better and certainly not worth half of what they charge. Unless blind and lost sense of smell. Avoid.

This place needs work, a lot of work. While room and linens were clean, carpets looked dirty and were stained. Trim hasn’t seen a coat of paint in years. Some electrical outlets didn’t work. Maid service was slipshod. All that said for £68 a night you get what you pay for and it served my purposes for a four night stay. If there was investment for a complete makeover the place could be gorgeous.

The hotel is going through a transitional period. Old vs New, I'd say. Some parts of the hotel are tired and would benefit from a deep clean while in the central areas the hotel has modernised and freshened up. The beds, linen all main facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and service good.

This place was aweful in every department with the exception of the bed which was comfy and Rob the server who was an awesome human being polite helpful service with a smile and very respectful This place should be torn down simple put The carpet was so stained I thought I had brought dirt inside on my shoes the lamps appeared to have never been cleaned bathroom is so dated it’s it is unbelievable entire place and so so called amenities total garbage I stayed in room 314 the design is so terrible I hit my head several times whilst getting out of bed

The hotel was ideal for us as only 30 minutes or so to Goodwood. Good value accommodation. Very helpful staff and the Restaurant food was first rate. Also worth a mention was the Bar where the staff and clientele were so welcoming it reminded us of the bar in 'Cheers'!

Our room was dirty and unclean. After an hour of being there, we checked out and went to a new hotel. We tried to get our money back as the hotel was unclean and not pleasant but got denied it. We paid £110 for a room i wouldn't spend £20.

The receptionist who welcomed me was incredible! He was extremely polite, kind, and professional. I wish him all the best. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask his name, but he was the one working a bit later in the evening. He was genuinely amazing and deserves all the best. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!
