"Hotel is well-situated for visits to other places in addition to Oxford (Woodstock, Wallingford, riverside pubs, etc.). Hotel facilities are very good (fitness room, restaurant, etc.). Staff were efficient and friendly. All-round excellent hotel, but it was a bit early Nov 21) for 24/7 Christmas music!"

"It was a special visit and we met family and friends for the Saturday lunch together. The restaurant staff really made us feel welcome and the food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly. A special mention form Charlotte who helped me arrange the event."

"I everything, from entering until leaving our stay was amazing. We hadn’t even left and we were looking at when we would be coming back. The staff were very helpful. Only concern was the noise coming from the spa which was directly below our room, we were not notified that at 7.30am a loud humming noise would be heard. When we do rebook we will be wanting a different room (room 16) apart from that it was great!"

"Bedroom beautifully presented. Tea, coffee and water in the room. Comfortable bed. Warm and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked good choice of drinks and cocktails. Breakfast, full breakfast included, delicious and lots of choice, eggs benedict, eggs royale etc. Would definitely recommend and stay again. There was a loyalty scheme but they didn't explain it so i have probably lost out on a lot of points. But otherwise excellent. "
