If you are going to central Vietnam start here. Yes, you can do nothing besides sit at the pool and read. But you can also use one of the new bicycles or rent a scooter on site to visit the villages on the island. These were the friendliest local people we have interacted with on our entire trip. You ride around to hellos from everyone! The kayaks were loads of fun too. We loved how quiet it was at night. Caroline (the manager) is always upgrading and improving the facilities. She was also very helpful in giving us recommendations for other towns we were visiting. Make sure to have the fresh fish of the day and ask for it to be done in the island's style.

A Place to Escape

The resort was a true oasis perfect for relaxing, eating drinking and enjoying each other's company. The villas are private and have a charming character. The salt water pool was a refreshing place to cool down. Overall it was just what we were looking for. Peace, quiet and the chance to 'do nothing'. Be aware that there is no other restaurants or bars in the area so dining options are limited to the resort itself. Thankfully the food was very good with plenty of Asian and Western choices and prices although not 'local' are still very reasonable. The selection of cocktails hit the mark and the service was always very attentive. This place is not offering all the bells and whistles of the 'international' resorts and is not a resort of a for those looking for action and adventure but for those just wanting to escape in a Robinson Crusoe type environment and spend some quality time together, it's perfect.

Nice place for a quiet time away from it all.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Island Resort. Caroline the manager (and all the staff) was helpful and friendly. The speedboat arrival to the resort was a fun way to get there. Please note that if you fly into Chu Lai airport you only need to take a short taxi journey to Tam Quang to meet the speedboat. The resort has an excellent pool and it was a nice place to sit and read and jump into the water to cool off. You can use the Resort cycles to explore the Island. Not a huge amount to see but it was good just to see how the locals live and to say hi to all the kids who come out to say 'hello'. Bicycles could do with a little more general maintenance to improve the cycling experience. The rooms were good and the bathroom had the wow factor with the outside shower. Just one area to improve on and that would be the positioning of the air con unit and ceiling fan - it was too far away from the bed and both my wife and myself were too hot in the night. This could easily be sorted to make it much more comfortable.

Selvom vi søger off-the-beaten-track steder så er dette et sted der nok bedst fungerer når man kan være helt sikker på vejret. Hytter, bar og pool er charmerende selvom det er lidt slidt, men alt er baseret på det gode udendørsliv og højsæson. Max to nætters ophold.

Perfect island getaway with incredible staff

The island is secluded and beautiful with cozy beach villas that have all the amenities travelers need. The manager, Cyril, is the consummate host and made our stay extra special. I can't recommend Le Domaine enough. Without a doubt, we will be back again next year.

A small corner of paradise

The manager made effort to greet visitors individually and also made helpful suggestions on places to visit. The arrival on a speedboat adds a bit of pzazz to the trip, even if one's main objective is peace and quiet - and the place was a haven of peace.

Top Resort in wunderbarer, idyllischer Lage

unter neuer Leitung haben sich die Speisen und auch der Zustand des Resorts im Vergleich zu Bewertungen auf Tripadvisor deutlich gesteigert. Alle Bungalows und auch die Hauswirtschaft Gebäude wurden neu gestrichen, Reparaturen durchgeführt und Technik modernisiert. Das Essen befand sich durchweg auf mindestens gutem Niveau. Die Fischplatte mit Muscheln, Krebsen und Langusten war fantastisch und hätte zudem leicht auch für 4-5 Personen gereicht. Sekt und Rose waren ebenfalls wirklich gut. Das Frühstück am Ufer (leckeres, selbst gebackenes Brot!) und die leckeren Snacks sind ebenfallt eher eeigenständige Hauptmahlzeiten auf einem guten Niveau. Sehr nette Angestellte, stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, bei Sonderwünschen scheitert die Kommunikation aber manchmal. In diesen Fällen hilft der kompetente & freundliche Ressortleiter mit exzellenten englisch und französisch Kenntnissen gerne. Das Resort liegt in der Natur - es besticht mehr durch seine Authentizität denn durch 120%igen Perfektionismus. Ein toller Ort um zu entspannen, wir würden wieder kommen.

Søde og meget hjælpsomt personale. 10 min. I kajak og man er ved en paradisstrand, som man har for sig selv. Smuk pool og dejlige terrasserne ved villaer. Rigtig god atmosfære pga. Den gode manager.

Secret island

There is nothing to do but a lot of chilling time you can relax and recover your exhausted body and mind. The Staff there are very kind and always smile to me as if they are one family. Food is wonderful and affordable compare to Hoi An. Should go there ASAP

Это было чудесно. Так случилось, что мы с мужем были единственными гостями отеля. Был прекрасно организован трансфер, далековато, конечно, от Дананга 2 часа + на лодке 10 минут, но это того стоило. Полный релакс и отключение от городской суеты. Сам отель стоит на реке, мы плавали на каяках до морского пляжа - оч. здорово. Место, где река впадает в море прекрасно. Персонал отеля хороший, все постоянно работают, песочек убирают несколько раз в день. Номер просторный с интересным дизайном, оч. понравилась ванная комната. Единственный минус это питание, завтраки вполне приличные, но вот обеды, ужины невкусные. Менеджменту отеля стоит исправить этот недостаток, и тогда все будет идеально

Plan to be isolated

Wonderful place to be - very quiet and peaceful - but much further from Danang airport than we thought. It is a solid two hour drive, plus another 20 minutes for the speed boat trip and settling at the end, so once on the island, you are pretty much there for good (don't plan on day trips). If you are OK with that, then the island is a very pleasant and relaxing place, and the staff work hard to make the experience enjoyable.

Rolig sted- uten om det vanlige

Vi hadde en flott uke på hotellet. Le Domain de Tam Hai er et hotell utenom det vanlige og litt utenom allfarvei . Eierens tilstedeværelse og serviceminded holding er virkelig fantastisk . Vi ble med på fisketur og en dagstur på moped på soarket- de flotteste opplevelsene på hele Vietnam turen! Hotellet har en laid back stil og filosofien er at man skal slappe av og kose seg, det et ingen stenge regler og alt er mulig å få til. Ungene 12 og 15 år simpelthen elsket stedet . Om kveldene ble det rigget i stand middag og ofte også kino på stranden - eksotisk og koselig . Anbefaler stedet for de som ønsker noe annet en main-stream resort.

行くのには大変なところですが、行ってしまえば島が自分のものになったような静かで素晴らしいところでした。 毎日市場でフレッシュな魚介類をオーナー自ら買い付けてきてくれるので、とても新鮮なものが食べられます。アットホームな雰囲気で、海岸で明かりをつけて食べる夕食は忘れられません。

Die Unterkunft - die eigenen Villen - sind klasse! Toller Service, absolute Ruhe, der Besitzer Jennes kümmert sich klasse um seine Gäste! Man kann den ganzen Tag barfuß laufen, keine Wünsche bleiben offen, auch das Team ist Super! Tolle Küche, preislich etwas teurer, aber geschmacklich sehr gut. Herrlich abgeschiedene Lage

Sehr gut. Viel Personal kümmert sich den ganzen Tag um den Gast. Viel Ruhe habe ich gesucht und gefunden. Sonne und Strand konnte ich selbst zur Regenzeit genießen.
