"Everything at the W it’s perfect, we love staying there"

"A really great hotel option for an inexpensive stay near Hollywood Blvd. The place was clean, the room and bed were comfortable, and the water from the shower was warm and had some good pressure behind it. The room's A/C worked well and was decently quiet. Their Wi-Fi was complementary and was reasonably fast. They also have a parking garage onsite (basement level, under the motel), though I didn't use it as I had already parked elsewhere. Parking as of April 2026 onsite is listed as $30/day, in-and-out as often as you like. I spent a fair amount to park elsewhere (since I didn't know about the onsite parking until I actually arrived), a block or two away, and if I had to do it over again I'd have parked in the Motel 6 onsite parking garage. Parking is at a premium here and everywhere nearby, as it's a pretty urban area. That's not a knock against the motel - they have their own garage after all. Staff were friendly and helpful. I even had some Amazon packages delivered (food, to save me the trip to a store) to the desk, and they received and stored the packages without issue. I know that sounds pretty basic (shouldn't every hotel do that, without issue?) but I was glad for it nonetheless and wanted to mention it."

"Poolside vibe was good. We had the best server, made us feel welcomed and very personable! "

"The Fenix Hotel Hollywood was worth the money we paid for. We reserved 2 queen beds, but the main issue was a funky, moldy smell anytime we walked in the room. The hotel is also located right next to a busy highway, so we would constantly hear sirens, car honks, and other noises throughout the night. Some of the appliances did not look the most clean, but nothing to complain about. I'd say it was an alright hotel stay if you aren't planning to spend much time in the room."

"Didn’t like extra mandatory valet"

"Pros: Although there are some unhoused in the area it still was very quiet. The staff were very professional and the housing attendants were nice as well. They price match with third party booking sights. Stores and eating places are within walking distance. Cons: I had a slight issue with the room I was in; there appeared to have been significant water damage to the bathroom door show signs of swells. The bathroom looked like makeshift patch work, not the topical hotel/Inn bathroom."

"Liked having a bath tub and full kitchen lots of light. Hosts very responsive on what’s app."

"The hotel is not near any great restaurant or attractions. It advertised a bar but it doesn’t have one. The sauna was also not working. Hallways and rooms are dark and dingy. Our small room had a broken lamp that looks as if perhaps it had recently been on fire. Walking down the hallway felt a little like being in a slasher film. Excellent water pressure and surprisingly good omelettes being served in the basement."

"Average hotel for the price. House keeping didn't leave clean towels when we wanted them changed."
