"Spent two nights and had a great time staying here. The hosts Nikki and Alan are the best. Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble for them. From stepping through the door they made us feel welcome. Nikki upgraded our room and changed our tv as the one in the room needed re-tuning. "Loved out stay at this hotel and restaurant on our final day in the Lakes. We stayed in Scafell Pike with the only negative being the room was very hot (we stayed in late Aug). We would definitely stay there again. "
