"Everything was good.. spent 3 days for Chicago.. Parking was Great... Check in was easy.. little hard to understand the lady at the front desk for checking in.. room was good size.. handle on sliding door for patio was broke told them when we went to get pizza.. gone for about 3 hours and when we came back it was fixed!!!, only thing was there was no holding bars in the bathroom.. for toilet and shower... overall a 4 out of 5 .. (4 because of no holding bars) ... breakfast is not free..McDonalds...

"The first room that was assigned to us was terrible; small, looked like a basement although it was on 3rd floor, had only ugly white lighting! Luckily the staff listened to our complaints and changed it immediately to a normal room. The staff was kind and polite. Our room was clean. Breakfast had a rich menu. However, there was no complimentary water bottles (we were told that the hotel ran out of water). They were being sold though."

"Much better than expected based on reviews I read before I booked. Larger room than expected. Clean. Comfortable bed. Well maintained. Old-fashioned but charming. Nice area."

"It was cheap and basically as expected. I did see a roach in the bathroom in the morning though so that’s not great. But overall it was fine, safe, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a quick overnight stay. I wouldn’t stay here again though."

"My biggest complaint is that we had no hot water. The hotel did end up refunding 1/2 of our fee, but made for a really unpleasant experience. We also asked for sheets for the pull out sofa and they never brought them and had some mold on the bathroom sink."
