"Check in set the tone. The girl was the most unfriendly hospitality worker I’ve encountered. 0 welcome. 0 communication. Checked in and discovered our door was broken and dead bolt wouldn’t latch. Back to the desk. Unfriendly worker inconvenienced by this. We left to eat and came back to see if issue resolved. Again-she is inconvenienced. Hard to find positives when this person kills the vibe."

"Our stay here was Wonderful! The room is large and spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and very helpful - plus the hotel itself is quite interesting to learn it's history and walk around viewing artifacts from the past. If you are staying in Amana, we highly recommend the Hotel Millwright, we wish all of our hotel stays were as nice as this one!!"

"Nice room and staff. Sadly didn't realize 2 levels so we got upper floor and elevator. Husband very limited on walking, climbing so it was a challenge and I needed to carry out bags upstairs. Saw after the fact they do have a place on confirmation telling off this. I thought I had booked an ADA room but saw i didn't have that done either. "Upon arrival the property looked very well maintained. Entering the building everything was clean and looked very new. Professionally checked in, and asked if we needed anything. Room was surprisingly large, and bed was better than we expected. Bathroom was well stocked, and loved the way the shower curtain was artfully placed.
