"I loved the balcony full oceanfront view!!! Best room of all. Was able to see the manta rays from my room. The staff was amazing but Leo at the front desk made my week. He went above and beyond to make sure me and my wife had a wonderful stay not just at Outrigger, but the overall Big Island. The food and drinks were exceptionally delicious as well as the views from the Voyager 47 Lounge. The Fire Luau was the greatest show on earth! I also enjoyed the Farmers Market Friday event. We had a one bedroom, w/kitchen, living room, small dinette area and a beautiful lanai that looked out towards the ocean. "It is really very close to the beach, you can even walk it.i also love the place itself. very quiet. The only thing really is the air con is very loud that you can’t sleep! That is the tie breaker. Either you sleep in comfort with the loud sound of the air conditioner blasting loud into your ear or hot but quiet during the night. "Excellent location. Room was different than expected with pictures shown. They are a mix of rooms. Once I figured out some things, all was amazing. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable.Great location for exploring the island. Walkable small beaches. Received a lot of different emails about the property and checking in. It made it confusing but figured it out. Its kind of like staying in a friend's guest room. Never really saw anyone."
