"We chose this hotel because it has a complimentary full breakfast buffet, the only one in all the Waikiki area hotels we considered. The breakfast had a very good selection of food and we loved the location - an outdoor rooftop on the third floor near the pool. There was plenty of seating. Our room, a 1 king bed ocean view premium with sofa bed, was very roomy and very pleasant. All the hotel personnel we dealt with were very nice, friendly, and helpful, from the checking in, to asking questions, to the help we got with our luggage, checking out, and getting a taxi. I only have 2 negative observations: the elevators are inadequate for that many hotel guests (had to wait awhile) which we read in other reviews. The 2nd one was that the carpet in the halls, especially around the elevator looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. After seeing that, I was surprised our room was so clean!!
I would stay here again!
To explain 2 later questions on this survey: we didn't buy any food at the hotel so didn't get the 20% discount, and we were offered by email an upgrade but I got the impression it would cost extra??"
