My wife and I only stayed one night in this Quaint Inn that has a lovely vibe and we would definitely stay here again. The room was nice, clean and had plenty of tea/coffee. Couldn't sample the breakfast because we were up and away early. However, we did have our evening meal here and can say the food was very good. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. We chose the Poachers Inn based on previous reviews and location (being 20-30mins away from Farnborough international conference centre / airport) and so glad we did.

Nice, quiet location with ample parking. Room could have done with a little TLC but was very comfortable. Food choice was excellent and well cooked. One thing to note was the very poor 5G signal in the area and no wi-fi offered at the location which made it hard for me to work.

Great night at the inn. Our room was at the back overlooking the beer garden. Was very quiet at the inn so no noise outside during evening. Sliding door if ensuite entrance needs some serious lubrication. Staff were super friendly and food was excellent

Loved staying here and will be back. Really friendly owner who made sure I was given all the information I needed. Really made to feel comfortable. I shared a twin room which was really tasteful, extremely clean and more than enough space for two of us. Highly recommend! Thanks for having us.

The place and room seemed tired. The booking in was okay, showed to room, told about fire exit, basic stuff well communicated. In the bedroom, only one of the bedside lamps worked, there was also only one cup for a two person stay, and both cup and kettle were dusty. Kettle still had water in. The night of our stay the room was hot, no fans available on site, so had to sleep with windows open, not ideal with road noise. The en-suite was not clean enough, mould and limescale in the shower and toilet, also the extractor fan did not appear to work. Only one side of the lighting worked on the vanity mirror. Outside, the garden seating area needs attention, bench tables all had bird droppings on, the grass had not been mown. We ate an evening meal, this was the only thing that I can seriously commend upon, superb food 👌. Poor standard of cleanliness on the drinks glasses, one of the Coka-Cola glasses I was served was tacky and not good. Overall, except the food, it was just poor 😢 Eat out - yes 👍 Stay overnight - no 👎

Wouldn't stay here again

The room wasn't clean, the bathroom sink and table with the kettle hadn't been cleaned since the last guest. I asked for more teabags and got a handful presented to me in a dirty hand. The food was poorly cooked pub style, straight out the freezer. I was there a few nights and had a pizza delivered the last evening. I wanted to like the place but couldn't

Not brilliant.

Bit disappointing. Emailed the property requesting a table the day before upon booking. Didn't get an answer and told we would have to eat in the bar which on itself wasn't the end of the world. Then told there would be no breakfasts. Just after finishing the main we asked for dessert and told too late. It would take seconds to put a slice of crumble in a dish. Especially as the chef was still there. The milk in the room was three weeks out date. The food we did have was quite nice. But all in all the hospitality left a lot to be desired.

On checking into our room, we found there to be only 1 towel despite the booking being for 2 guests. On requesting another towel we were told that they would have to put 1 in the dryer & we could have it ‘later’ One of the pillow cases on the bed was soaking wet & the extra pillows had no pillow cases in them. The toilet seat was not fixed to the toilet so was dangerous. Many items were unavailable from the menu & breakfast was only served from 9am-10am. On the whole a very disappointing stay which we will not be repeating.

Happy to recommend

Very enjoyable stay with very friendly staff and good food. Family friendly in village location. Plenty of parking and nice rooms.

Stunning Boutique Hotel on the country side

Stunning countryside beauty. Boutique hotel with the most professional staff. The food for breakfast is rich in freshness. The staff is absolutely attentive to guest detail. Will book again anytime traveling on that part of the big island.

Very nice hotel if you have a car

Had to stay 2 nights to attend a convention nearby. I booked this very last minute. The room was very comfortable and clean. bathroom was very clean too. Great breakfast. The garden in the back was a so quaint to sit in before breakfast. Although I found out I paid a lot more than some other people attending the same convention who had booked through a different site. Area lacked public transport.
