"I’d like to start by saying this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Embassy Suites by Hilton used to be known as a top-tier place to stay, but this particular location clearly does not live up to that standard. My family and I didn’t check in until after 10:00 PM on April 18, 2026. The weather had turned colder that evening, so we initially didn’t think much about adjusting the room temperature. However, later that night, the room became uncomfortably hot. When I tried to turn on the air conditioning, I discovered it wasn’t working. Maintenance came to check and casually informed us that the air didn’t work in that room and that they would try to move us. By then, it was close to midnight. We were moved to a second room, but as soon as we walked in, it had a strong odor, as if animals had been in there. I immediately told my family not to unpack because there was no way we could stay in a room with that smell. I went back downstairs and explained the issue to the night staff, and we were then given a third room. Thankfully, that room was clean and the air conditioning worked.The next morning brought more issues. Our reservation was for four people, yet the room only had two washcloths and three towels. When I went to the front desk to request more, I was told housekeeping wouldn’t arrive until 9:00 AM. We needed to be back on the road by 9:30 AM for an event, so this was extremely inconvenient. "Honest opinion. The lobby and property grounds were very nice. However the rooms were very dated and the tv was small. The beds were fairly comfortable for me but my husband thought it was a bit lumpy and could feel springs. The beds could use a thicker blanket or spare in the closet. Everything was very clean in the room though. Shower and water pressure were great. The pool was cold for an indoor pool and the hot tub felt great but needs to be resurfaced. The diner was nice for breakfast. We traveled with our grandkids for a little weekend getaway. They enjoyed it and that’s all that really mattered but they would have been in the pool longer if it was slightly warmer. All in all, a bit overpriced and ok but needs improvements."
