Tudor Licious is all I can say , as whilst
recumbent in my hotel room in Cannes after an early morning flight . Part of me had been. excited to leave britain the other wished I was waking slowly in the glorious four poster bed I had slept in .last night
In hindsight somehow i knew it was a one of a kind hotel stay when the heavy studded door swing open onto a balcony overlooking a green algae duck.pond with two doves cooeing in contentment as the warm evening...

"The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect location for Gatwick Airport. The staff arranged for a hired car to drive us to the airport.
We did not eat in the on-site restaurant, but it looked very nice."

"Such a gorgeous property!!! We stayed there for 3 nights and hardly left. We ate at all the restaurants, including High Tea. We had such an amazing time. We will be back!"

"I stayed at the Mitre several times during my visit to England. Not only is the location amazing, opposite Hampton Court Palace, on the River Thames, and close to Bushey Park, but the staff are fabulous. They go above and beyond. Professional, kind, thoughtful, helpful and welcoming. Special shoutout to Ashley, Sabrina, Alina and Blaze - thank you.
Good to know - Air conditioning units were being installed in some of the bedrooms as I left!!"
