"It is too far walking from train station. Bus not operating due to construction for a week. Even bus is operating, you still need to walk uphill about 500 m . We have to walk uphill for about 20 mins. I would suggest to stay in Grindelwald ( nice view ) or Interlaken area. They picked us up but their rate is not standardized, depends on the receptionist. "Hotel Schonegg in Wengen, Switzerland was amazing! First off, it rests in a beautiful small town on the edge of the Alps overlooking the Lauterbrunnen valley.
