"I was upgraded to a harbour view room in building one from a car park view - so that was very grateful. But I more looked at an overgrown tree that obscured any Harbour view. The first door in building one to my door was humid and wet. Rusty stain running down the door on the inside. Room was two twin beds pushed together, but side tables not rearranged space wise so obvious they had just pushed the beds together. Booked on Expedia so no daily servicing of the room. "The hotel was clean and well-designed and stylish. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in & out process was quick and easy. The room was spacious and well-maintained. The bed & pillow was very comfortable. The swimming pool was really good especially the parasols and the swimming bed colour were super nice (instagrammable colours around the hotel). "

"We had a nice day until we reach this place and wanted to check in. The receptionist/ the person handles the check in was very rude, very unprofessional and very unwelcoming - not hospitable knowing they are in hospitality industry. Dealing with a loss with a family doesn't give you the right to treat your guests bad."

"Room 1304. Well maintained, as good as it was when i stayed there in 1975, when it was the newly built Travelodge. Good ocean views. No noise through walls from other guests occupying the facility, unlike the Sugarshaker. Good parking, though no guarantee of a space. Lady at check-in was very nice. Happily stay again."

"Fantastic motel, easy parking, quick check in and short walk to great fish and chip shop. Even though they were super busy the rooms are super quiet and spacious with no outside noise heard. Well set out with air fryer, fry pan and microwave so you reheat and eat in your room. "

"Cabin was clean but underneath the cabin was rubbish, maybe from rubbish getting blown under there or from previous guests."

"Would never stay here or recommend it. If we didn’t check in so late and were staying more than one night we would have found somewhere else to stay. We stayed in the larger room with multiple bedrooms and three bathrooms. One of the bathrooms was closed off because it was not working. The rooms were old and not cleaned well. Air conditioners were not working. Beds and pillows hard as rocks. I’m very surprised this motel was rated so high by others. "

"Parking was booked out, didn’t realise that I needed to book in advance. Had to park down the road in public car park."

"We were informed in advance that there would be a large function near our room on the first night of our stay which would be noisy. I asked for a room to be allocated to us that would minimise the noise and was told that this was not possible. The music went to 11pm and our room shook with the noise. there were other rooms we could have been given. I complained and got a $50 voucher Poor management"

"Very unclean, mould in kitchen, bedroom cupboards and drawers. People smoking on balconies. Otherwise ok but this time not worth the money unfortunately. "
