Building looks unkempt from the outside. Many holes in the parking lot. Giant pond of water at the entrance from a heavy rain due to lack of drainage. I didn't plan to use the pool but I could see it from the surveillance cameras behind the front desk and it looked awful. Lots of clutter in the lobby. No working elevator. Room smelled like marijuana. Small holes in the floor. No cover on the ceiling fan in the bathroom. Fridge didn't work. Harsh lighting in the room lighting fixtures. Small roaches came out the next morning and were all throughout the room running across the floor. Not a ton but I'd say I saw at least 6. Check in and check out was easy though and front desk associates were friendly. However, I won't come back.

The property didn’t look bad from the photos on the app & it wasn’t too bad in person for the prose. The pool wasn’t that bad but one thing that was extremely disgusting is the roach infestation. I had to sleep in my car for After I saw at least 40 roaches. One or two wouldn’t have too bad but BABY!!!!! I canceled the remainder of my stay and was refunded for one day. I really feel like I should have been refunded for both for what I was put through with the main tenants( the roaches).

Spend The Extra $20 At Another Hotel

Lobby Looks Outdated, My room smelt terrible , My room had roaches, mosquitoes, and some tiny fruit flies, that kept bugging me last night, I ate a couple of them on accident because there was sooo many flying around. Theses rooms are not quite, I heard the next door neighbor moaning, and screaming good thing i had a broken faucet that kept pouring water making soo much noise, for 55$ bucks i didn’t expect much, i should of spent the extra $15 down the road and could of been offered a fully loaded room with breakfast, gym, and a hot tub !!!

New Jack city hotel

Room was as clean as it could be from what was there to work. Carpet was disgusting, tub and bathroom old worn out but clean. Bed was clean, fresh sheets, room smelt like smoke and marijuana but at least no roaches and bugs. Not too bad I guess with a cheap price but there are over hotels for not much more but way better and taken care of. It was pretty much the hoodeat hotel I’ve been to. Homeless people camped out on stairs, a guy was in the lobby showing off his semi-automatic gun tied to be sleek and his it under a towel. Flagged the barrel at a cleaning lady and me while I was waiting to check out. Another guy was tryna sell shoes that I’m guessing he had just stolen from Academy.

Not safe

Was vary unsafe. Don’t mind if people live in hotels. But this one that’s all it was. People were complaining about the shower handles falling off and water flooding the bathrooms. My family chose this hotel because of the pool. Get there and not only is the not a pool but the pool is just dirt. Not safe for a family
