"We had a fabulous time at Dikker and Thijs. We were greeted by wonderful front desk staff who continued to greet us each day with a smile, and small chat. The hotel itself is unique and though a bit of a maze to get to our room - it added to it’s uniqueness. We would return anytime we are back in Amsterdam and would recommend to others."

"The hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was comfortable but the location was unacceptable. We had a first floor room that opened to a courtyard where bikes were stored. Our checkout experience was also unacceptable. Despite paying ahead of time they attempted to charge us again for the room and at a different rate."

"Great hotel at a great location. The staff at check in and check out were very friendly, helpful, and went "over and beyond" to ensure we got everything we needed sorted. Good breakfast buffet. Convenient parking garage on premise (although very narrow so requires some advanced driving and parking skills). Overall we had an amazing experience and will come back again. "

"First, I will start with the cleanliness of the room. We found urine stains on the sheets, hair as well, and all the counters and surfaces were full of dust, which triggered my allergies. Second, the toilet and bathroom were clean, but note there is almost no space to put your personal hygiene products. The staff were super friendly and helpful; when I told them about the stained sheets, they changed them immediately. However, the harm was already done. Why not check in the first place? I think...

"La habitación estaba limpia, el desayuno muy bueno. pero estaba haciendo frío en Ámsterdam y el calentador de la habitación no funcionaba. Me llevaron uno portátil para conectar pero casi no calentaba nada, por lo que pasé frío todo el tiempo."

"The room was spacious, clean and just all around perfect! We had the most amazing time, the shower was huge, as was the bed. The amenities was fantastic! Robes, slippers, speaker mini bar the whole 9 yards! Would absolutely recommend for couples and without a shadow of a doubt be back!! 11 out of 10!!!"

"Had a junior suite - very nice. Clean and plenty of room. Nice little balcony. Very central location. Inside the hotel was nice and staff was outstanding. Outside the property / the side walks are pretty dirty and the area is very busy. Felt safe though. While waiting for our car service outside, the front desk staff kept coming out and checking in with us. She was so nice."
