"It was a nice room it was small and it’s totally contactless but it was well taken care of there was free WiFi and they have a smart tv so you can log into your streaming services which I appreciated. It was perfect for what we needed. "

"Loved the contactless check-in…really streamlined the process. Older but well kept and convenient to the highway without being noisy. Our room and bathroom were tight but had everything we needed and were comfy. We couldn’t get the WiFi to connect but we were ready to head to bed so I did what I needed using my mobile service. "

"Charming! I chose it for an overnight to break up our drive to the Porcupine Mountains. After we arrived, I realized that Birch Lodge IS the destination! Our downstairs bedroom, parlor and bathroom were very spacious. The porch reminded me of the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island! Bring food as the eateries in the village are lame. I was hoping for whitefish at McGowan's but it was closed and looks like its for sale."
