"Such a lovely guest house, the interiors were absolutely beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring classic period furniture. The bed was very cosy. The bathroom was perfect. The shower was spacious with excellent water pressure. Tasty cooked breakfast. Location was great, about a 20 min walk in to York City Centre. Highly recommend."

"Views - large construction site outside.
Room - mould in the bathroom on the ceiling, toilet did not flush properly. No lock on bathroom door. Duvet and pillows were of a very low quality.
Breakfast - We went to breakfast early (6:30) which resulted in no staff present. Gluten free food was available on request but unable to do so. Fried breakfast was lukewarm. Coffee machine broken.
Decided to try somewhere nice and was sadly letdown."

"Wunderschöne, gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr ruhig und das Frühstück reichhaltig. Unser Elektroauto konnten wir unproblematisch und mit transparentem Preis laden.
Die Lage ist sehr gut, da man in 5 Minuten zu Fuß in der Altstadt ist.
Wir würden die Unterkunft definitiv erneut buchen."

"Dated room , smelled of smoke , the bathroom door lock was broken . Noise from room next door from 3-4 am . Hotel doesn’t do food , we didn’t know we had to pay for parking that was another £15. We were only there from 9 pm till before 8 am the next day . Wouldn’t return "

"The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was huge and tasty. It’s centrally located for walking the city & near restaurants. The only thing to fix is the street which is blocked for construction, so you can only use one end of the street to get there."
