"Loved my stay at the Kixby. The lux king room was spacious enough for two guests, much roomier than many NYC hotels. The complimentary water bottle upon check in was a great touch and free coffee/tea/water throughout your stay was awesome as well. The hotel is conveniently located near trains, eateries, shopping, and more. "Nice location. Glad to get free water, but it wasn’t cold only cool and had to go from the 10th to the 1st floor every time I needed a refill. There was no refrigerator or microwave. The air conditioner worked but was very loud and never did cool down the room completely when it was hot outside during the day. "We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn on W 36th in NYC. Upon arrival all the staff were very helpful, they stored our bags safely while we toured the local area until our rooms were ready. They called when one room was ready but not the other 2. I booked through Expedia and prepaid the room, which I will NEVER EVER EVER do again. This hotel charged me again for all 3 rooms when I checked out. Had to go to the front desk and speak with someone 2 times. The first person claimed I was not charged...
