"Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"

"It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax."

"We stayed at Simpson’s one week, and what a week. Staff very very kind and service minded. Facilities excellent in the middle of an area with amazing nature and great wildlife. Food excellent. We had the pleasure to make local food with one of the chefs and travel to knuckles mountains, explore the tea plantage and may other exiting adventures. "Wonderful place to stay, staff takes care of you. Walk to Kandy and take taxi back. Laundry taken and brought back next day. Breakfast was perfect, fast and fresh - would open early if needed. Made for relaxing stay, I was there for three nights. Price was very good for what you got."
