My wife was booked into have heart operation. I am eighty and I was stressed having a three hour journey to arrive at admissions for 7am . I rang the day before. Shown know compassion, just told that would cost more. I just needed a place to relax . The fire alarm went off with no explanation for a lengthy time. So though the hotel staff were pleasant, we had no money to spend on extras. It was a life saving trip not a holiday. So you could have been more compassionate given our circumstances "
"Staff were great, food and atmosphere at the venue downstairs were good too. The room is very basic, old and in need of maintenance. For the most part, this is reflective in the price, however the bathroom had mould on the ceiling."
