"We have stayed at the Remington numerous times on trip to visit our daughter. Today at breakfast was disappointing for all as there was only one staff member on trying to check all in, make coffee's for all, clean up tables and restock the breakfast supplies. The staff member was doing a sterling job due to the lack of support she had."

"The staff told me to park anywhere on the street until 9 tomorrow, so I dropped the luggage with my wife and tried to find parking. The bellman at the door just stood there and watched my little wife, who is senior citizen, load the heavy baggage onto a cart and didn’t offer to help whatsoever, and there were no other customers at all. It was very ungentlemanly if I’ve ever seen it. The next morning, I informed the front desk staff who didn’t seem to care and said it’s not his job. Out front...

"We stayed two nights in a three-bedroom villa with two young kids and their grandparents. We are sensitive to cleaning chemicals but none of us had any reaction, no smell, so we could fully relax at the villa. The waterpark and the bigger pool were amazing, entertained our kids all the time, literally almost all day. We could spot some warrabies in the property, which was a good bonus. The breakfast buffet was also great, especially the egg kitchen. No salad at the time I stayed but a good...

"Elegant room. Jetted spa bath leaked but didn’t impact our stay. Bed mattress was a bit soft for my liking but I’m sure others like it, just wasn’t very supportive. TV offered stream play from photo to tv, however was extremely laggy and unwatchable when we tried. Staff were lovely and grounds were picturesque."

"Tidy rooms, convenient hotel parking and access. Right near the tram lines/train station but no noise either!"

"Place was okay, but not a great deal to do in town. Good for a 1 nite stop over."

"The room was beautiful. Mix of modern and rustic. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had towels changed over and our room tidied even though it was only a 2 night stay which was a surprise. We loved sitting on the balcony facing the vineyard and listening to the array of birds. Would love to stay here again for a future visit."

"Recently refurbished room, very clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the shower had no water pressure and was almost dripping out of the rain head which made the experience frustrating and slow."

"Handy to airport pleasant staff food was great"

"Parking on site is great due to the paid parking all over Newcastle. Our room over looked the fort plus the harbour. Staff were helpful and let us leave the car there after checkout so we could look around. There was nothing to fault and my wife loved the full length mirrors."

"Very comfortable room and the bed was sooo comfy. Good value place to stay in Hunter Valley."
