"Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit."

"The hotel was nice and clean. No breakfast included. I forgot my toothbrush and most hotels would have complimentary toothbrushes but not this hotel. I had to buy one. The staff were pleasant. Our friends stayed and booked a stay and play at the casino and were given free coupons for breakfast and supper and free play at the casino but when I called to book, I was told it was not available so paid way more for the room and no free perks."

"We loved this hotel in Peterborough! Everything was comfortable and clean, I am pretty sure that it is a brand new hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly from check in to check out. We stayed on a ground floor river view room, it was so nice! We had our own little deck looking right out onto the river, where we could watch the sunset and the families of geese and ducks on the lawn. So sweet.
