"Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"We arrived here late in the around midnight with our toddler and there was massive party in the lobby.
The rooms were unkept and extremely small. There was also a smell in the room.
This is not a hotel that I would recommend in the future."

"Dina was so lovely and friendly! She was very hospitable and did not fail to reassure us to let her know if we needed anything at all. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was impeccable - not even hotels are that clean! There was not a single spec of dust and you could tell that this business cleans everything thoroughly. Highly recommend over a hotel💯"

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again."

"Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road.
The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching.
Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit."
