Top Eldorado National Forest Hotel Reviews

Bally’s Lake Tahoe Casino Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The room and bathroom were very spacious. Amazing, walk in shower with a new looking sink. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall but otherwise everything was great. We visited the indoor pool and hot tub which were warm and comfortable."

Forest Suites Resort at Heavenly Village

10/10 Excellent

"Went on vacation with my wife, two babies, and my parents and the two bedroom ADA suite was perfect for our needs. Is this an extravagant property that blows you away? Not so much, it is three star. Is this a rock solid option; cleanliness, nice room layout, large TVs in each room, nice back patio, quiet area, steps from a State Park, great location, nice employees, good upkeep. 100%! It was great for our needs and we will be back!"

The Jeffrey Hotel

8/10 Good

"It’s a quaint and quiet location. Parking can be a little bit of a mess but there was at least 1-2 spots open even if you come back later in the night. There’s no staff in the area reception which was a bit different but getting the access code to the rooms was easy (via text) checking out was easy but a bit conflicting from what the sign on the door says compared to the text option. If you want the rooms to be made you have to place a sign that they offer on the door to let housekeepering know you want your room made up again. The rooms were stocked up extra towels, toilet paper etc. it didn’t lack the necessities. The WiFi was spotty when I got it work but I didn’t spend too much time in my room. It’s close to the casinos about 10-15min walk. There was no swimming pool/hot tub and beach access you have to pay for so depending on the time of the year you plan on visiting keep that in mind. Not a bad place to stay but for the price I paid and the amenities weren’t there unlike other places. Getting in and out of there was easy unlike other hotels and resorts in SLT. It wasn’t a bad choice for last minute."

3 Peaks Resort & Beach Club

8/10 Good

"I checked in an hour early because my room was ready. The room was very clean and it smelled of pinesol strongly. I love the layout of the room. I had room 304. The room and the whole vicinity is a bit outdated, especially the carpet and faucets etc. but everything was working. They only had decaf coffee in the room and I was not happy about that. Other than that, my family enjoyed the pool and hot tub at night. The ac unit doesn't work but you can just leave the windows open since it's cold outside. I would come here again, walking distance from Heavenly Village."
