"My favourite hotel in Dundee. Location is great, food excellent. It is such a refreshing change to get your breakfast cooked to order - all food was excellent. Staff cannot be more helpful."

"Really great place to stay in terms of quality and in terms of things to do. We were only one night in our 2 bedroomed villa but we will be back as we only really got a chance to try a few things out. Great location and great friendly staff who couldn't have helped us any more."

"We stayed for 3 nights in Aug 2026 and had a great trip. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, we were made to feel at home during our whole trip. The room was clean and bathroom was great. The only things we could fault was not having air con (who would have thought in Scotland) as it was exceptionally warm the nights we were there but we used the fan provided. The food in Calders and the rookery was lovely and breakfast was good too. Our favourite bit, probably like most guests was the viewing terrace out back to watch golfers come and go and to sit and have a drink on the comfy furniture. The pool facilities were great, especially useful as we traveled with our 7 month old and the sauna/steam room looked good despite not using. All in all we had a great time and the staff were the biggest asset, they made us feel like good friends and look forward to coming back to see them again!"

"We feel the breakfast let the hotel down. Times stated are 7am to 10am. That should mean that there should be full availability and the hot food should be hot. We had our breakfast at 9 each morning and the hot food was warm not hot. It was a shame as it did let the hotel down. We did enjoy a very tasty meal in the early evening."

"Good small hotel. Our family stayed here for the second time; the staff is friendly and attentive. The swimming pool is nice. Now it has a better breakfast and good coffee. The bed is the best size, and the bedding is great because there are 4 pillows. Thank you for a wonderful time. "

"We stayed at the Hotel Indigo for just one night but the staff at reception were extremely helpful with their recommendations for bars and restaurants and the bar staff made us some delicious cocktails. The room itself was spacious and well maintained. The hotel is in a great location with M&S just over the road. We would definitely stay again."
