"La Mère Poulard is the best hotel in Mt. Saint Michel. The Bay view room in the old historic building is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and has a renovated bathroom. Breakfast is good but the restaurant is in other building located 200 meters and 100 stair steps from the rooms (in Mt. Saint Michel all streets have lots of stairs but distances are quite short. I spend two nights with my wife and enjoyed the visit very much."

The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations and directions. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and a great way to start each day. On top of that, the location is fantastic—situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood within easy walking distance of the metro, the Trocadéro, and the Eiffel Tower. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

"I’m rating this based on European standards which are much older and smaller properties without AC are common. We had a sea view which we loved the terrace and how it opened up and you can watch the tides and hear the sea crashing and get a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful but this property was all about location and the sea view. The room itself was very tight, and the bathroom was ridiculously small where many Americans will not fit. If you stay here inquired about the bathroom space...
