Food excellent quality and taste. Only negative for food was diet yogurt and not natural as said on menu and none in kitchen when checked."

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kenmuir Arms hotel. Located in a wee picturesque village we found the staff friendly and accommodating. Room one was very clean with a very comfortable king-sized bed and the shower had great water pressure. Highly recommend the creative food prepared by international Chef-Patron Christopher Dougan (recently awarded in February 2025 Scotland's Dining Discovery of the Year and 5 AA Gold Stars and 2 AA Rosettes). "Unique and gorgeous hotel in the Irish coast to stay at before catching a ferry to Ireland. We arrived late, so give yourself enough time to have dinner and enjoy the morning. If you’re catching the P&O ferry at 8 AM, you probably need to leave at 6 AM to properly get in the queue, so plan accordingly. It’s a once in a lifetime experience though!"

"We liked how clean and fresh this property was. We found it very comfortable. Milk, teabags, coffee, wheaten bread, butter, cheese, oil and spices were all provided, as well as fresh flowers. There was an abundance of local animals to enjoy watching: horses, cows, sheep and housemartins. The pool table in the sun room was a welcome addition. All the bedrooms were spacious with excellent quality bedding. The downstairs master suite was particularly attractive. We would love to return! "
