"Stayed at this hotel as en route to Scotland and dog friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful. The added bonus was access to pool and spa facilities which you don’t often get when travelling with a pet. Good food also."

"Fabulous stay at The Sun Inn. Excellent value for money. I was upgraded free of charge. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay at The Sun Inn again next time I visit Lancaster. "

"Had a lovely stay, self check in was simple - detailed instructions were sent the day before. The apartment was immaculate. Furnished nicely with a well equipped kitchen. Fabulous location right in the centre yet out of the way enough to not be loud. Would recommend. "

"Excellent central location. Lovely clean, modern room. Small issue with gaining access with the code to the room but quickly resolved with a phonecall. Great stay amd would return. "

"Staff couldn’t do enough to help us. The room was impeccable quality. Our bed was comfortable, we loved the huge bath tub in the room and the welcome gifts and coffee machine added a nice touch. The only minor issues we found, was the room was extremely cold on arrival, however the room had its own thermostat which we were able to increase and quickly warm up the room. The automatic lights in the toilet and wash area were inconvenient in the middle of the night but easy to block out by closing...

"Very close to the centre, with restaurants and cafés. The self catering in the house was great too. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was a great living area downstairs too! The host, was very good. He organised an earlier time for us to get into the house and his directions were brilliant. We would definitely stay here again!"

"It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. "

"After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? The shared bathroom, toilet paperless, was dingy and poorly lit. Some photoshop trickery must have been used for the pics of the place. Since anyone could access the property through the open front, street gate I...
