"the staff was lovely, the place was spotless, great continental breakfast included and access to kitchenette and complementary tea, coffee was so convenient. Room was a bit small but had a comfortable bed. the washroom was quite large and had nice warm towels. The launch area and the amenities more than compensated for it."

"This was an excellent property which we would happily stay in again. Well maintained, spotlessly clean and comfortable. You also could not ask for a more centrally located apartment in Fort Augustus, with all its amenities on your doorstep. However I have dropped a star as we were not provided with the door access code or room, as promised, on the day of our arrival. In fact we never received this information at all! We were surprised when we arrived that the “on site” included parking referred to street parking but it did not turn out to be an issue. "The hotel was mainly self service which is better for solo and couple travelers. This is not a full service hotel as there was no one to greet you upon arrival. The hotel was a short taxi ride into town and is fine for 2 nights. They had an Aye Eat affiliate in town we didn’t get to experience. All in all, the family room had bunks which were a novelty to our teens. We liked the decorative Scottish themed touches throughout."
