An incredible place to stay. Rooms are lovely. The communal space is a fab place to sit and relax. The re-wilding centre is beautiful. We did all of the trails and the guided walk. The staff were all fantastic and we learnt a lot. If booking via this site do contact the centre directly for your check-in codes as they don't come through automatically!
Quiet peaceful location. Clean and comfortable room. Shower/bathroom set up was a little awkward. It felt like a hospital, but still useable and clean. Parking set up might need a little more “defined”, simply because several people took up multiple spots, even though it seemed like “white posts” were the markings. That’s just a suggestion, not a complaint against the place.
Overall still a great experience.
Wonderful find in the valley. Great atmosphere , clean Scandinavian vibe in the middle of Scotland. The best beds and duvets! The best continental breakfast!!!
We hope to be back
Great stay - entry was easy and without any fuss. The room is large and bed was great, ample power points with USB A and C.
We stayed overnight on the way to Loch Ness Marathon - will be back during the daytime to visit the rewinding centre properly, as it looked really interesting.
Good parking at the main car park, with EV chargers - a great perk in the not-so-well-served highlands
Such a nice welcome,Struggled a bit with the code opening the door but thought the 1st code was for both...Silly me.Accommodation was very comfortable....
A nature friendly, fully disabled accessible, clean and comfortable place with decent common room, healthy breakfast and nice staff made the stay enjoyable. Difficulties for check in given the unique automated checkin arrangement and the absence of staff onsite after their service hours to help.
Quite a clean place to stay with good friendly service. The parking rules are not easy to adhere to with the poor signage and one way traffic route, and actually seems quite pointless given the amount of space that is available.
More vegan options at breakfast would be helpful and more fresh fruit options.
Felt it was nice but a bit expensive given the limited breakfast and tiny rooms.
And
This was a nice place to sleep. It is in the middle of a nature area. There is not much around for food, or other activities. They have a cafe on site, but it opens later. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was stocked, no tv, they had a common room with fridge, and other kitchen amenities. The check in is contactless. There is a key box where you get your key and return it with a code in an email. There is no staff on site that I ever saw.
Had a very positive stay at An Spiris, was great to support such a good cause. The accommodation itself was very clean, modern and bright. Comfortable beds and the bathroom was cleanly with a great shower. The free continental breakfast was a fantastic plus that we were not aware came with the stay until we got there! The common areas were also useful with a kitchen and living space and somewhere to dry your hiking kit.
The surrounding land was beautiful and hope to stay again to make use of the walking trails.
Worth nothing that it is probably worth dropping your bags off at the accomodation before parking as the dedicated parking bays are quite far from it. (Unless you are disabled badge holder, in which case there are good spaces outside the front door for your use).

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
We got in late (after 11pm) and got a little confused because it was dark- but once we found our way it was absolutely amazing. The bed was a king size bed (as requested and the staff got back quickly to confirm this when I messaged them before we arrived). The room was absolutely amazing and the in room bathroom was set up really well. There is a common area with a microwave and kettle and I believe a refrigerator. We only stayed the night, so we didn't get to see much of the property. We did have some issues with the pillows being uncomfortable/ plastic'ie' feeling (that is a very minor issue).
Clean, bright and modern, it’s difficult to fault this property and I would recommend it to friends. The included continental breakfast is great.
There are some minor things that could improve the over all experience. The rooms would benefit from more coat hooks, not hangers, but one or two small hooks would be great. The space is very echoey and would be helped by some soft furnishings or a felt strip below the room door. It might be worth adding a mirror to the bedroom, as the only mirror is in the bathroom.
We had a very temperamental key card, it repeatedly took multiple tries to open any of the doors, which meant we were attempting a relay to ensure access was maintained.
Parking and location are brilliant, if I’m back in the highlands I would certainly look at staying there again.
Very nice place to enjoy quiet time. Be sure to check in during daylight ad it is self check in and the parking is a ways away from the room.
Overall an enjoyable stay and would recommend for families wanting to learn about nature.
