"Comfortable cottage-type room, that could accommodate my dog. It is within walking distance of a few restaurants and a grocery store. Had a nice stay."

"The room was great; very clean and modern. The free breakfast was definitely a great value; included eggs, bacon, make your own waffles, fresh yogurt, fresh juice and delicious coffee. NOT a fan of the AI/Virtual check in and check out, it was creepy and it just made me uncomfortable. I prefer people over a digital image of someone with a fake background, however, still giving this 5 stars because it was super affordable, convenient and all of the positive things above. "

"I give 5 stars because for the price, this hotel checks all the boxes. Nice rooms, comfy bed, pillows that aren’t flat, decent free breakfast, wine happy hour, workout room, sauna, friendly staff and convenient location. Starbucks next door and freeway access close by. Shower water pressure not great, but you have a separate tub (no tub/shower combo) and the toilet in its own water closet. Great stay for the price. "

"I loved my stay at the VF hotel. There was a mix up when i arrived, but it was quickly fixed with a short call to the owners from the gal working there in the restaurant (who was extremely friendly and helpful). I loved the convenience of self-check-in and out and having the restaurant and bar underneath, which was amazing. Valley Ford has come a long way since i was raised in the area in the 80s and it is adorable and bustling with quaint eating establishments, the robust market, and the old...

"This place was an absolute gem - I almost don't want to advertise it too much lest the word get out. The room was lovely and comfortable and the view was stunning. Jenner is a small town and Madeira House is right in the middle of it. My only regret is not staying longer and getting to enjoy the magical garden on site. We will be back!"

"Moder, clean rooms w/jacuzzi tub and private outdoor deck. In floor heating; no noisy AC unit. Nice grounds to walk with our dog (pet friendly). Host provided outside movie and got a fire going. Hot breakfast (scrambled & sausage) plus good fruit, cottage cheese, yoghurt with usual coffee and selection of teas. Friendly staff who want to help. Property is well off the road and so peaceful. Restaurants are 5-8 mins away but parking is challenging as these are popular."

"Cozy place to rest and enjoy the nature at the same time. The hotel is in front of the river which makes you have a beautiful view always. The free breakfast is really good! In addition, the restaurant of the hotel has an amazing chef whom makes all the food delicious.The German couple made this place magical. Totally recommend! "
