"Great service 10/10 hotel"

"the place is fairly new looking loved the room set up disappointed w the pool... water was green:( had to travel to hotel next door to have breakfast i assumed the price for the room included breakfast, Paid the 15 euros, translates to 25 dollars canadian, breakfast was not worth the value, there are several supermarkets nearby w breakfast at a significantly cheaper price."

"Really close to the airport"

"The people at the reception desk were very organized to check us in and take our credit card but were clearly negligent to advise us that the air conditioning was not functional in our room. Their response to our complaint was "the technician is supposed to come and we'll let you know". Later that afternoon they told us the the air conditioning won't be repaired for our stay. Their compensation to us was a bottle of water and they had no other room available to us. We were very angry and they...

"Excelente localización en el mismo centro turístico. La habitaciones muy bien equipada, cómodas y limpias. No tuve que coger taxi para ir a ningún sitio porque todo está cerca. Si algo pueden mejorar. Sería poner agua en las habitaciones cortesía del Hotel y dos almohadas por cama que usualmente se usa. No usamos el restaurant, pero el desayuno fue muy bueno y variado"

"If using the indoor pool, bring a swim cap and flip flops so you don’t need to purchase them. Otherwise, great stay just outside of Porto. We used Bolt to get around during our stay."

"Hotel Timbre Virtudes is a classic, beautifully decorated with history and modern comfort. It's conveniently located, about 10 minutes walking distance to the Douro River front. The room is comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Timbre Virtudes and stay there next time in Porto."

"Cons 1. Hairdryer was jammed when we checked in & the head had to be replaced as it was inoperable due to hair jammed into the head of the hairdryer. 2. The website says air-conditioned rooms but staff informed they are air cooled.The first night was very sweaty & uncomfortable to get sleep. Staff asked us to open the window for ventilation.This wasn't an option as this overlooks a highway & lot of traffic noise. 3. The hotel is located in Gais & requires Bolt & Uber for any Porto related...
