I am sure some rooms are like-new. Ours shouldn't have been rented. My fault for not inspecting it first. Room had too many issues to list.

Pleasant Experience

The management & staff were recently replaced so it was a bit chaotic however I did not blame it on them, they did their best to resolve any issues and do really care about guest experience. Overall I would say they have a lot of work ahead of them however it was a great stay for the fall colors this year. I look forward to staying again next time I am in the area.

This place was a scam.

I arrived at 830pm. to check in. Not a soul around. This place had no vehicles and a couple of lights and a rope light across the front. There was a note with a number to call. The number did not answer, and their mailbox was full. The only plus was i got a room down the road, so our trip was not ruined. ( i had a 5 year old with me!) Seems like this place was abandoned.

Theres nobody here. Front office is dark. No cars in the parking lot. No one to give us room keys. Just an abandoned hotel.

I made a reservation and it was accepted. However, when I arrived, the place was closed. A sign on the office door said to call a phone number and a person would assist me. I called the number, but it went to voice mail and the voice mail box was full. I had to go to a different motel for the night. I'm trying to get a full refund.

No one at the front desk. Phoned the number tacked to the office door at least 6 times only to get a response that the phone mail box was full…no other hotel rooms available in Ironwood or as far as Marquette….slept in my vehicle as a result…definitely not impressed ….with only 4 hours of sleep….this facility should not be on Hotels.com I expect to be compensated for the cost of the room and the inconvenience to me. I am a long time user of Hotels.com and this is the worst experience I have ever had. Respectfully Varley

Never got in my room. No one was at the front desk. Tried calling and nothing. 3 other guests had the same problem. We tried 3 different times and no one was ever around. Had to sleep in my truck...tried to get refund and was total nope

This site is closed would like a refund and compensation for the inconvenience of having to drive around and find a new hotel for the night and not able to do what was planned in area do to this inconvenience. From some of the locals this site has been shut down for over a year and has been reported to you. Please take it off your list and taking peoples money.

Closed and incompetent

The motel was closed for the season when we arrived. I called the number on the door and spoke with the property manager of their sister site in town. They were unprofessional and unable to tell me if I had a reservation at either location. They told me they would call back when they were able to figure out if we had a reservation, and I never received a call back. We ended up staying at another motel in town.
