"QUESTION .. why is there no mention of the vacation club/timeshare sales pitch in any of the reviews. This was aggressive and not welcoming. We will not be staying here again."

"We went from may 19-25 the property was fantastic a lot restaurants and different options for lunch one thing I will recommend book your restaurants once you get to the hotel because other wise you will have to eat were the they have availability all restaurants are really good we tried Union,Lotus,Caracol and Filia the Italian and try to book early 6-7 so you see the night time entertainment beach is decent but really close to the beautiful waters of Playa Mujeres our stay was really good very safe place the resort for me is 100 % recommended and I will go back in the future thanks for your amazing work to SLS team in keeping your guests happy"

"Mine and my husbands stay here was absolute perfection. They had so much to do on the property, pools, spa, gym and different shows and activities at night. The food was a 10/10 at every restaurant but if I could recommend one it would be ‘The Grill’. Staff was always friendly and made sure we were comfortable in every aspect. We were treated like VIP’s. We would definitely come back again."

"Cannot say anything bad about this stay. I will add that this was our third resort we stayed at over the many days we spent in MX, and we could not get enough of it here. Food, vibes, space, entertainment, pools. Incredible."

"This resort is def for an older crowd. Everything ends and closes early. I would have liked a better things to be open a bit later. Good was ok - not entirely blown away. Room service menus was underwhelming."

"The property is fantastic. A 3 min walk to the beach. We were able to get chairs and umbrellas without a problem both at the beach and at the pool. All the hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating for everything. Our evening butler Frida was absolutely fantastic in helping with dinner reservations, turn down service, getting our mini bar restocked and setting up our spa reservations. The pool waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. The swim up bar gets a little crowded so we would get out of the pool and order on the backside of the bar- never a wait. The poolside snack bar was ok for a quick bite. The onsite restaurants were also fantastic. We found boheme and gaucho to be our favorites"

"Unfortunately, this was our second and last time staying at this hotel. The new management that took over this resort has made the experience much worse. Not only was the front manager unhelpful, but also rude and disrespectful throughout our stay. The overall staff seemed overwhelmed and very unaccommodating. About a month before our trip, I emailed requesting an upgrade to an oceanfront room and made it clear we were willing to pay the difference, but no effort was made to accommodate us, which was extremely disappointing. The food was another major letdown. Most of it was dry, overcooked, and lacked flavor. We also tried several of the restaurants on the property hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately it was just as disappointing. There also seemed to be a shortage of staff everywhere — not enough bartenders, limited water service, and long waits. You could clearly see the employees were overworked. Overall, this resort no longer provides the level of service and quality we experienced in the past, and sadly we will not be returning."
