Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres – All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in room 3209 in Elegance Majestic Club Jr. Suite I think it was called. 1. We had a butler named Chris who anticipated our every need and was exceedingly easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. He shared the daily itinerary every day, we just messaged him if we needed any little thing like towels, a cleaning, a booking etc. and he took care of it, never had to think twice. 2. Resort is very nice and peaceful. I enjoyed walking around and it was big enough that I didn't get bored whatsoever for the 7 nights we were there. 3. Food is actually really good. We went to the Italian, French, seafood, steakhouse and tepenyaki. Every night felt like a new vibe, we went twice to the Italian restaurant for the mushroom soup, it was fire. The seafood restaurant was really good for dinner, with a beautiful view - felt like a bougie waterfront restaurant in Vancouver, not an all inclusive. Filet mignon was great at the steakhouse, Creme brûlée was delicious at the French restaurant, They have Majestic for gourmet burgers and quesadillas etc taste delicious and the breakfast for club members was like 5 star a la carte. 4. The lobby bar has really good cocktails, like being in the lobby again at a bougie hotel in Vancouver. They have a live piano player and even live singers. 5. The customer service is truly top notch. The servers at the restaurants go above and beyond to attend to your needs they take their jobs seriously. 6. Entertainment was really good! 7. Good crowd."

Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres - Adults Only All Inclusive

"My husband and I really enjoy our 4 day stay at the adults only resort there the staff was very friendly, very helpful the swim up we had was gorgeous and the suites are big was beautiful, we appreciate the huge tub for the two of us. The vibe of the resort sexy with the saxophone soloist and the band playing some classics. We arrived on Thursday for Mexican night and the set up was amazing. The mariachi band was setting the mode. However, at the price of the stay is not matching the food, we was slightly disappointed in the food. Considering the resort is rated a diamond resort I would have liked for the food to be at a better quality. The food was subpar dry, microwaveable tasting like, for breakfast it tasted like yesterday food. I almost felt like unless you had club membership you wasn’t getting quality food served. So next time we will go and have that club experience and I’m hoping that the food would be better. That was my only complaint. Everyone there all the staff members gave us a great time and I would recommend, I just want to keep it real and that would be my only gripe the food wasn’t up to the standards of which I assumed this resort would provide."

"This resort is the best!! Everyone is kind and goes out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. The property is beautiful and well planned and maintained. Swim-up pool is amazing! Victor and Julio and Carlos and Mario are incredible and felt like family!"

Finest Playa Mujeres by The Excellence Collection - All Inclusive

"Had a great stay at this beautiful family friendly property. Beach is awesome but does have quite a but of seaweed not nearly as bad as other properties. Pools are scattered most of the property but are fun when you get used to it. Kids club and waterpark is great for the kids just no food and beverage allowed. Main pool is kind of disappointing since there is not enough chairs and umbrellas in the area. Service is friendly across the board. Restaurants were a miss for me. Teppanyaki was fun and had decent food. Most other restaurant are definitely not as good as other luxury properties. All in all a solid stay."

Hotel Riu Latino - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"The rooms were great. The check in process was very easy, as was the check out. No complaints there. The food at five of the six restaurants was great. We did not eat at the high end gourmet restaurant. But as far as food was concerned everything was very on point. The service in the restaurants was pretty great as well. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant as they served beef filet. The four pools were really clean and nice. The bar service was also fast. If you actually tip the guys walking around (we tipped the same guy for a whole day as we were in the same pool), you will get excellent service. The gift shop is nice, but if you’re really looking for souvenirs do yourself a favor and uber in to town and go to one of the malls. Although the gift shop is nice and they have high quality items, it’s very easy to spend a lot of money quickly there. We didn’t use the spa or the gym, so I can’t speak to either of those. But they do also have a big outdoor sports bar and night club type situation if you’re looking for after hours fun. The property is very large so be prepared to walk quite a ways to and from the beach/pools. The pools tend to get warm like bath water by early afternoon so keep that in mind as well. The property also will not break down larger bills for smaller bills for tipping, so you need to bring that ahead of time. The place is really great though if you’re looking for something outside of the main resorts. We loved it."

Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres All Suites & Spa - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our one week stay at the Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres! The hotel has very modern rooms, well furnished and sparkling clean, with a big balcony which in our case gave to a great view of the sea. Very comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. The restaurants, bars and cafes have a nice variety of food and drinks of top quality. The same can be said about the staff. Everyone seemed to be on a mission to make our stay worthwhile. Really great work by everyone. Thank you so much!"
