Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"As a couple who visits Mexico all-inclusive resorts twice a year, we know what to expect, and our recent 5-night stay (May 12–17) unfortunately fell short. While our room was clean and very nice, the service and dining options left a lot to be desired. The biggest issue was the pool area. There was a severe lack of waitstaff; we only saw one or two servers who barely walked around to check on guests. If you wanted a drink, you essentially had to get into the pool to order from the swim-up bars. Furthermore, the website advertised a poolside snack spot called "Ocean Burger," but it was closed all week. Because of this, we had to wait until 12:30 PM for the lunch buffet. The buffet itself had a very small, limited food selection that was identical every single day. The one major bright spot was the buffet waitstaff, who were great and provided excellent service. However, when you pay for an all-inclusive experience, you expect reliable poolside service and decent food variety. We will likely look elsewhere for our next trip."

"ATELIER Playa Mujeres was an amazing experience from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. We stayed in a swim-up suite and absolutely loved it—it was one of our favorite parts of the trip and made the stay feel extra relaxing. We also had INSPIRA, which made the experience even better and added a really special touch. The service was outstanding, everyone was welcoming and attentive, and the food was excellent. The beach itself is beautiful, although there was some sargassum during our stay. Even with that, the overall experience was incredible. Between the swim-up suite, amazing dining, and the atmosphere throughout the resort, it was a truly memorable stay and we would absolutely come back."

"Room- room was very big and modern. We are a family of 4 and had 3 beds in total, 1 king and 2 queen. It lacked garbage bags/trash bins, the only place we could throw away our trash was by the toilets. My family also loved how there there were 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 3 sinks to use! No one was rushing anyone. Housekeeping could've been better, they will make the room looks clean but we would see the counters weren't wiped and water bottles and snacks weren't refilled. Food- we loved the Japanese, Indian, and French restaurant. Disappointed with the steak house, the plating was definitely not 5 star worthy. The seafood served was well worth it. We loved the ice creams (especially pistachio and Ferrero flavours) Butler- our butler was Mauricio and he met all our demands in a timely manner, though I wished they would've put a banner outside for my parents anniversary like what others got, but thats okay cuz they were happy anyways. Night life- they offered shows I haven't seen in other resorts which we appreciate. The night club is a hit or miss with their songs. Day life- not much day life going on. Didn't know there was foam party until we saw it in the main pool and by the time we got there it was over, I was really looking forward to that too."

"this is my second year in a row staying at this facility. the grounds are very well kept and maintained. rooms are very very clean . staff is very kind and caring . If you are more of a relaxed not party type people, i highly recommend getting the preferred club rooms as for it gives you access to a private pool, lounge and bar which is more relaxing and not wild party like with crazy music. if you like to party , there is a “social” pool on the property that gets rowdy however my wife and I stay away . food on the property is fantastic. men bring long pants and closed toe shoes as for the restaurants for dinner require this . el patio and hitmitsu our are favorite spots to eat . reservations are only required for hibachi however i would recommend making one . as i mentioned before i recommend choosing the preferred club rooms as for you receive a butler who you can text via whats app and have them make reservations for you for anything on the property including activities. this place is awesome which is why i went back two years in a row . not far from cancun airport either which is about 45min. i recommend booking private car transportation from the airport cause the airport transportation is WILD. unique transportation is your go to . don’t think twice, stay at this resort you will not regret it"
Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres - Adults Only All Inclusive

"This is the best all inclusive resort we’ve ever been to. We are already planning our next stay. The food, the staff, the room, the pools… are all top notch and simply incredible! Service was by far the best at any Cancun area resort and all staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. We had an ocean view room which was hard to leave. We are highly disappointed by Expedia, they cancelled our flight reservation while we were waiting at the terminal gate and we had to lose 2 days of vacation because of their error. Our bags went to the airport we were supposed to go to, and we didn’t get them until we came home. The resort staff was so accommodating with the issues this caused. They took us to the local Walmart by taxi and waited for us. We made the best of the trip with the Walmart clothes (which you can’t try on). It would have been perfect if the flight and baggage issues did not occur. Sushi at the XLounge and Magna were our favorite. We are glad we didn’t spring for a pool room because there was no privacy for those poor people below us. There were no bugs during our stay. The Mexican Fiesta was our favorite event. The massage I had at the spa was so relaxing. The gym was fabulous. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Excellence Team!"
