"We had a great stay overall! The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and the grounds are lovely. However, there are a few areas that could be improved.
The pool water was almost hot, so it wasn't refreshing and wasn't enjoyable on the hot day. We ended up spending most of our time at the beach, which was great.
The restaurant reservation system was frustrating. During our 7-night stay, we were only able to book specialty restaurants for 3 nights because there was never any availability. The buffet had a good variety of food, but on the last two days many items ran out early, and the lines were very long. My child waited 15 minutes for pizza, only for it to run out, and my husband was standing in line for the steak, which was served undercooked. We visited at the end of June, and I can't imagine how much worse the experience would be during spring break, when the resort is typically at full capacity. If restaurant reservations are limited, the buffet should be fully stocked throughout service.
The towel service also needs improvement. We tried to exchange towels before the 6:00 PM closing time, but around 5:45 PM there were often no clean towels available or long lines. Restocking towels before the evening rush would make the process much smoother.
Overall, we enjoyed our vacation, and with a few improvements, this hotel could offer an even better experience."
