"We really enjoyed our stay at the Montecito Inn in the Tower Suite. The room was unique and charming, with two levels that made it feel more like a little apartment than a standard hotel room. The bedroom and bathroom are on different levels, so you do have to go up and down stairs, but if that is not an issue for you, it actually adds to the character and fun of the space. The location was great, the accommodations were comfortable, and we would happily stay there again."

"We had a wonderful stay. We were so surprised at how well appointed it was! We booked at last minute but we will come back many times!!! We were impressed with all of the amenities! One item of distress was that the on line booking jumped by $80 so we called and woman said that the fee was correct. So we tried another service who offered for less so we booked. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly owner!!"

"The best thing about this property is the location! So close to the beach, the wharf, State street shopping and restaurants. We walked everywhere. The hotel itself is older, not recently updated, but we loved its funky antique charm. Our room was dated but it fit with the charm of the rest of the property. No air conditioning but it wasn’t necessary. We had a cool ocean breeze every night through the window. The room was as clean as it could be considering the age of the building… and the beds...

"The room was intense with bleach, screen door bent so let the flies n bees in to air odor out. Toilet didnt flush, long story trying to get bell hop when left a few hours after check in. Asked for no Mayo at pool cafe, had Mayo loaded up on sandwich:(. "

"The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was updated. There wasn't enough clothes storage in the room, and the cooling unit either cooled too much or too little. The continental breakfast was good but no protein, so I brought my own powder to mix with the oatmeal. The hotel is near the beach, so it was pretty busy and noisy at times. There was a homeless presence in the neighborhood too."
