"Friendly welcome from reception at check in. Spotless room but no heating on à very cold day. Given à portable heater until central heating kicked in. Good food in restaurant . Very friendly barman in evening and waiting staff at breakfast were extremely efficient and welcoming. Would definitely visit again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gilvenbank Hotel and would highly recommend it. There are plenty of well lit parking spaces and it is lovely and quiet. The staff are so friendly, helpful and very cheery, including the house cleaners, waitresses, receptionists and bar staff. We stayed in room 4 on the upper floor and loved it as it's very spacious, clean and has a comfy bed. Our breakfasts and meals at night were so tasty and we loved the large portions. "The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg. The manager and chef provided recommendations for places to visit by car. We enjoyed our stay here, part of a longer touring...

"Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. "The property itself was a lovely upstairs room, generous in size and very close to the rail station with a direct line to Edinburgh. We had a two night stay and found the bed to be very comfortable. A generous soak bath tub is in the main bedroom. Little snacks were a pleasant gift. Small issues were disappointing.On arrival there was no soap in the container and We were disappointed that despite asking for the room to be serviced, the soap was not replenished, toilet paper not replenished and...

"Despite such low price, my room is clean and spacious. Staff are freindly, helpful. There are two showers and tolits on my floor, never felt I had to wait. Downstairs there is a kitchen but a small one. Thr whole building is smell free. "
