"We had a fabulous 9 night stay at Dunclutha House. Julie and Richard were fabulous hosts. The room was fabulous, teas & home made shortbread delivered daily, room and restroom were always kept up. The full scotiat breakfast was the highlight of our mornings, we always look forward to haggis and home cooked meals when we visit Scotland. We visited the jucuzzi, always nice and hot! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gilvenbank Hotel and would highly recommend it. There are plenty of well lit parking spaces and it is lovely and quiet. The staff are so friendly, helpful and very cheery, including the house cleaners, waitresses, receptionists and bar staff. We stayed in room 4 on the upper floor and loved it as it's very spacious, clean and has a comfy bed. Our breakfasts and meals at night were so tasty and we loved the large portions. There is a good variety to choose...

"The room and hotel were v clean. Staff were friendly. Location good. Maintained well. Rooms roomy and bed comfortable. Only thing they need to sort is the breakfast coffee. Guests do like a decent breakfast cup of coffee or two."

"Despite such low price, my room is clean and spacious. Staff are freindly, helpful. There are two showers and tolits on my floor, never felt I had to wait. Downstairs there is a kitchen but a small one. Thr whole building is smell free. "

"Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. Communication with the host was very good additionally."
