"Very happy with this hotel. Found the staff to be friendly, the cleanliness was exceptional and the facilities very good. The pool is quite small and was very cold when we visited but overall it's still a nice pool area and in peak season must be really handy to have. I'd be very happy to return to Hotel Costa Azul"

Though I was a bit disappointed, they went above and beyond themselves in reassuring us that there were other ways to see the city and to enjoy ourselves. "Our stay here was one of the best hotel stays ever. The check in staff was incredibly helpful, the lobby, restaurant and bar was immaculate and clean making us feel very comfortable, and the room was amazing. We had a basic city view room that was laid out very well with a great balcony looking towards the church, and the balcony chairs were extremely comfortable. The included beer, juices, and coffee was a very nice touch as well that made us feel like we received a great value for our stay....

"We had a lovely stay in mid-October. The room was nice, with a big, comfortable bed. We would have preferred a completely separate bathroom rather than the modern glass-style installation, but after many years of marriage, it was fine. The view was fantastic. Outside, the pool area was excellent, with a saltwater pool and direct access to the sea — clear, warm water even in October. The pool restaurant was very good, and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was great, with a wide selection...

"This hotel was real quality. Even though it is a big hotel we heard no noise from other guests. The food was excellent and the location beautiful overlooking the marina. There was some road noise but as I live on a busy road in the UK it did not bother me. Overall I would like to come back again next year and would recommend it to friends "

"An excellent art themed hotel located very close to restaurants and bars and only 15 mins walk to old town or a 4 min taxi ride. Francesca, the receptionist, made the stay extra comfortable and tended to our every needs. The pool and spa facilities are excellent too. I would definitely stay here again."
