"I’m soooo happy I chose Ajwa Sultanahmet! It was worth every penny. The team is incredibly attentive, always doing their best to accommodate your needs and make you feel genuinely at home. It reminded me of all the little things that make staying at a great hotel so special.
The location is fantastic, surrounded by great restaurants and within walking distance of many of Istanbul’s top attractions. But what really sets this hotel apart is its design. The attention to detail, beautiful...

"We arrived late after a 13 hrs flight and went to sleep immediately. The next morning we took a quick shower to go out early on a tour and did not pay attention to the mold. When we returned that night my wife noticed all the patches of mold on different areas of the stall and opted out of taking a shower and took a bath. I also decided to just take a bath too. I spoke to manager Kanzar and let him know how disgusting the pink and black patches of mold were. We left the next morning. The...

"The room wasn’t up to prior standards. Two years ago my room was spotless and very clean. This year the sheets wouldn’t get changed everyday, the toilet was terrible, the cleanliness was not like it was two years ago. I would even tell the housekeeping about my comments and they were always said ok but when i come back at night i see no changes..It was noticeable that the women in the housekeeping team are better than the men. During breakfast, the smell of the utensils was awful daily. However...

"Every member of the staff was wonderful, from housekeepers to managers and everyone in between. The location is near central sites, yet away from the throng of tourists. The spa is a treat. Visually, the property is attractive. The guides and excursions arranged by the hotel were the outstanding.
Poor maintenance overshadowed the charm of the building where our room was located. It was clean, but the 1950/1960 cooling system is not air conditioning. It blows centralized air across water pipes...

"I chose The Emerald Mansion hotel because of the location. It's walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the grand bazzar and the tram stop is a short walk away.
The beds are comfortable, breakfast is huge. I was on a fat free diet, so instead of giving me cheese, as part of the breakfast platter ( omlette, boiled egg, cheese, croissant, jams, honey, hazelnut spread, and a roll) they did fruit instead ( sliced apple and pear).
All the staff are lovely and helpful especially Mel on...
