Nice staff, small hotel

Nice staff, easy up hill walk to mosque areas and onto crazy shopping etc. Lots of food places on hill up. Hotel on waterfront, so nice quiet walk along boulevard if you like. Small hotel, but unlike other reports my room was not small (rear)

Our stay at the Radisson was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—from the front desk team ( Kalendar and Murad) to housekeeping, and especially the restaurant staff. We were a group of ten and spent five nights at the hotel, and throughout our stay, we were treated with the utmost care and professionalism. Whenever we needed transportation, the staff kindly assisted us without hesitation. Everyone we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The restaurant offered a great variety of delicious, high-quality food, which we enjoyed every day. The rooms offered a breathtaking view of the Sea of Marmara, and the sea breeze made our experience even more special. I would rate this hotel well above a 10 if I could. Truly and sincerely recommended.

The property is very small compared to other Radisson hotels. There is no elevator, nobody is there to help you with your luggage once you get to the hotel, there is no pool. Rooms are tiny. The biggest plus is location, of course. It's walkable to all old town sightseeings: Blue mosque, Aya Sofia, grand bazar, etc. And it's right by the water.

The hotel was beyond amazing! The staff are doing their best to make sure the guest is having a great stay in Istanbul. Especially Kalandar. He helped us countless times with Taxi drivers and finding a destination to visit. The rooms are extremely clean, and my 1 year old baby was extremely happy with the room and the staff. The location is really nice and safe with very pleasant view. Would definitely go back to them whenever I visit Istanbul again!

The location is good, but the carpet in the room is stained and dirty, the shower had mold and the bathroom is very small. The front desk person Murat was not at all helpful and was hard selling cash payment for the taxi service hired through the hotel. When asked about a room upgrade or the promised VIP access amenities he said "it doesn't matter, we are a busy hotel". The only things enjoyed at this hotel were the restaurant on site and the front desk person Kalander, who was very warm and professional when we checked out.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our family of four had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any request truly made a difference. Our room was excellent, with all the amenities and services we could need. Everything was well-maintained and contributed to a relaxing and convenient stay for our whole family. One of the hotel's biggest assets is its ideal location. Situated in a beautiful historic district, it's within easy walking distance of major attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. This made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable for all of us. Overall, we highly recommend the Radisson Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet. The combination of helpful staff, excellent amenities, and a prime location makes it a perfect choice for families visiting Istanbul. We would definitely stay here again. 5 out of 5 stars

I stayed one night at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Sultanahmet, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm and professional service, especially by Mr. Hikmet at the reception — he was extremely kind and helpful. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The breakfast buffet was rich, varied, and delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the historical area, within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and other major attractions. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my future visits to Istanbul. Many thanks to the management and all the staff!
